Supplements = Food : Supplements are not Drugs!

This is the bottom line on all this health freedom talk.

You see one of the last freedoms that we really have left is that here in the United States our dietary supplements are NOT regulated by the FDA as Drugs.

Instead dietary supplements in the United States are regulated as foods just as they should be. After all - they are made with natural ingredients - drugs are not. Since they are natural they also cannot be patented!

It happens all the time that drug companies synthesize an "active" ingredient from a traditional herbal remedy - then they go and patent it. Their synthetic form (copy of nature) is now something they can profit on. But they are still competing with the natural herb unless they can "prove" it is harmful and somehow get it banned.

Ephedra is a perfect example. Ephedrine is the synthetic form. Do you think they would have tried to ban ephedra which was used for centuries with little incident if it wasn't highly effective and competing with the sales of ephedrine?

Take a closer look…

Look at when they banned ephedra - it was in products everywhere. I mean you could get this stuff in dozens of products not only in any health food store but in truck stops across the country. Sure - it's a stimulant but so what - so is caffeine and it's sold legally in on every corner of the city at Starbucks.

Personally I avoid stimulants - but ephedra was very effective for daytime weight loss and it has a sinus clearing affect as well.
But in the European Union as well as in Mexico and Canada dietary supplements are regulated more like drugs than foods.

This makes their potency much lower and their costs higher. Selection is also much weaker. Often this even drives European people to order from overseas (yes - they order from the United States).

If these North American Union and the FDA's illegal Trilateral Cooperation go through as planned by the ruling elite then whether you live in the United States, Europe, or any of these other places you will be affected!

How & Why will you be affected?

You'll be affected because you won't be able to even order the huge, diverse array of dietary supplements from the US that is currently available. So it doesn't matter where you are - the 'harmonized' standards that will go into effect with a North American Union will be disastrous to the whole world.

Let's not let this happen.

Ron Paul is the only candidate in the current US election that understands the importance of these issues and will make the necessary changes. Please support him and spread his word - ignore the 2 party system that really doesn't matter anyway.
